Toss together:
1 medium head romaine lettuce – washed, chopped & dried
2 green onions, sliced
Small can mandarin oranges, drained.

Dressing:
2 tbsp sugar
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp tarragon
1/8 tsp pepper
Dash of Tabasco
1/3 cup tarragon vinegar
1 egg yolk
¾ cup veg. (or olive) oil

¼ cup sliced almonds, toasted

Put sugar & seasonings in blender. Slowly add vinegar. Blend well. Add egg yolk. While blender runs slowly, pour in oil. Blend & refrigerate. Add desired amount of dressing to salad. Toss well. Sprinkle almonds on top.
