2 eggs – well beaten
½ cup sugar
¼ tsp salt
2 cups milk – scalded
1 ½ cups cooked rice – cooled
1 cup seeded raisins
¼ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla

Heat oven to 325. Mix eggs, sugar & salt. Stir in milk. Add raisins, rice, vanilla & nutmeg. Pour into greased 1 ½ qt casserole. Set in pan of hot water (1” deep). Bake 1 ½ hours.
