2/3 cup margarine
2/3 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs & 2 tsp vanilla
Beat until light & then add:
2 ½ (3) cups flour
1 tsp soda & ½ tsp salt
Mix & then add:
1 350 gm pkg chocolate chips
Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased sheet. Bake 10-12 min @ 375. Makes 80 cookies.
For chewier cookies – drop from Tbsp & spread to ½” thick. Bake for 12-14 min or until golden brown at edge & slightly underbaked at centre. Cool on sheet. * Try butterscotch chips!
